Batteries from Finland – the Way to Low Carbon Future

You are warmly welcome to participate in Batteries from Finland – the Way to Low Carbon Future webinar. The event will be held on 28 January at 9.30–12.00 Finnish time (8.30–11.00 CET).

In the webinar, Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland will launch the Finnish Battery Strategy, one of the first national battery strategies in the world. The strategy will be presented by Chairman of the strategy group Mika Nykänen. Vice-President of the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič will present the progress in establishing the European Battery ecosystem, including opportunities and challenges ahead. Key players in the Finnish battery industry will discuss their role in the value chain and the distinguished professor Ferdinand Dudenhöffer from Germany will share his analysis of the industry. At the end of the webinar, a panel discussion which will explore the way forward.
