EIT InnoEnergy to support Chvaletice Manganese project
We are very pleased to relay the news from Euro Manganese on the Chvaletice project in Czech Republic. Euro Manganese and its wholly owned Czech Republic subsidiary, Mangan Chvaletice, have secured the support of EIT InnoEnergy to assist with strategic financing and offtake agreements.
The project relates to the extraction of manganese out of already existing mine tailings. This will give valuable addition to the much needed Manganese into the European battery value chain while also cleaning up an existing environmental problem with mine tailings from earlier mine activities. The project is therefore strongly supported by local communities.
EIT InnoEnergy has entered into a support agreement with Euro Manganese in the context of the Business Investment Platform (BIP).
