BP Statistical Review of World Energy
The annual publication of BP Statistical Review of World Energy was released last week.
Main news this year was the record decrease in oil consumption, decrease in fossil as well as nuclear electricity generation, and continued dramatic increase in renewable electricity, both production and new installations.
The data reported, still does not contain any battery deployment data. However, since a few years the annual statistics report does provide data on battery materials. Reserves and extraction of Cobalt, Lithium, Graphite and Rare Earth elements in major countries are included, as well as annual price series for Cobalt and Lithium.
