Webseries #1: Talent Challenge – Nordic solutions and approaches

The global battery industry is on a very strong growth path, and this is creating both big opportunities – but also challenges. One of the challenges the global battery industry is faced with, is acquiring the necessary talent and competence. In practice this may be:

• There is not enough competent workforce, both blue and white collar, to match the requirements coming from the industry
• Educational programs are not developed to fully match the current and future needs
• Attracting talents to new locations and countries is not efficient enough

The panel will discuss:

• General aspects of talent development and attraction
• Growing demands of companies both in competence and volume
• Challenges om which the industry is faced with, when big investments are realized, especially from a regional angle.

The panel will not only cover the challenge but rather how this challenge is faced by describing and discussing approaches and solutions to it. This emphasizes the strengths of the Nordics, solving the challenges!
