Thore Sekkenes, EBA250 Programme Director, will moderate the panel discussion Europe’s Battery Future on Wednesday, March 19, 1:30 PM – 2:00 PM. He will be joined on stage by Bo Normark, Industrial Executive Strategy at InnoEnergy, Benoit Lemaignan, CEO at Verkor, and Ziyu Liu, Deputy Director for Government affairs at CATL to discuss the options for European battery manufacturers. What is the future for battery manufacturing in Europe? Can we find a path to profitability going it alone or should we partner with global leaders from China? Does Europe need its own supply for energy security or is it better to use Chinese batteries and decarbonize quicker? These are some of the questions that will be addressed during the panel.
