Battery Summit

Organised by Battery Cluster Portugal, the Battery Summit invites everyone to discuss how batteries will promote competitive sustainability and are necessary for green transport, clean energy and to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Join the Battery Summit on 22-23 March 2021 in a virtual conference that will:

• Showcase industrial RTD+I initiatives along the battery value-chain with the potential to become game-changers in the Iberian region;
• Identify actions that are crucial for build-up battery technology and production capacity in the EU, which is crucial to reach climate targets and for low-emission mobility, energy storage, and Europe’s economic strategy;
• Position Spanish and Portuguese industrial and scientific communities to face emerging opportunities and challenges towards a new generation of batteries;
• Help bridging the skills –gap within the batteries industry.
