EBA250 high-level workshop – Aligning financial and business needs

Welcome to the 5th high-level EBA250 workshop arranged by InnoEnergy in Brussels on 29 January 2019.

“Aligning business and financial needs”

 The meeting will focus on the financing supply side for the identified and defined portfolio of projects We will therefore welcome public and private financial stakeholders interested in the battery sector to join that meeting.

The meeting will aim at the following objectives:

• To have a cartography of volumes, typology of financial products, bankability parameters, Terms & Conditions and more for each of the steps of the value chain, acknowledged by all players.
• To increase the knowledge and appetite of the financial community into these investments, since they see all the key industrial players of the value chain with concrete own commitments and plans, working together for a European industrial ambition.
• To inform the financial community of the deal flow of industrial investment cases coming up, with the ultimate goal for them to initiate the brokering demand-supply.

In addition, the European Commission will provide an update on the implementation of the Strategic Action Plan on Batteries issued in May 2018, thus informing on the last regulatory developments in Brussels.
