Strong markets attract newcomers
As already pointed out on this website, the electric vehicle (EV) market is taking off and might even get a boost during and despite the COVID-19 situation.
Norway recording the highest penetration of EVs, it is no coincidence that it was picked by BYD as an entry market to Europe. Indeed, the largest Chinese EV manufacturer recently announced their intention to launch and start selling their all-electric SUV Tang EV600 in Norway.
More and more actors on the market realise the positive trend on the Euroepan EV market and act on it. Strong and growing markets attract more competitors. We can therefore expect an increasing number of newcomers in the future.
